Sign A Petition For Imprisoned Pastor Saeed Abedini

In September 2012, American pastor, Saeed Abedini was arrested while building orphanages in Iran, since then he has been arrest to 8 years in prison on charges of sharing the Christian faith in homes across Iran.
A petition has been circulating by Saeed's friends, family and attorney to help raise awareness and to hopefully lead to his and others release.
There are about 20 videos on their youtube page of people sharing about the issue, from Jon Foreman (Switchfoot) and Toby Mac to Josh Turner and Charlie Daniels if you want to spread the word more.

The movement has been working as the European Union called for Saeed's release on last Monday.  Congress held a hearing Friday before the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission and from people who were inside the room they say it was very heated and very emotional.  Congressman Trent Franks spoke about the State Department being "AWOL" through this time and noted that the Obama State Department had issued dozens and dozens of press releases since Pastor Saeed's arrest and conviction, yet not one called for Pastor Saeed's release.  He mentioned the State Department even posted about "Spring Break for Smart Travelers" over talking about an endangered and imprisoned American in Iran.

Saeed's wife, Naghmeh, spoke as well saying, "every day is a death sentence" for her husband and that he is literally in chains for the gospel right now.
Saeed has been in prison for over 5 months at one of the worst prisons in the country.
The goal is to have everyone to get 3 friends to sign the petition.  "Save Saeed, reach 3 today"
They have been using the hashtag #savesaeed to raise awareness on twitter.
