Six Tips For A Strong & Healthy Marriage



What are the things we need to do to stay happy with our spouse?..
Majority of your couples today rush into marriage without knowing some important facts that would make their marriages stay strong and healthy...
As much as some women prefer to avoid this fact, a successful marriage requires service and humility on our part. You're not going to hear that said too often around the water cooler. Instead you'll hear things like, "You have a right to be happy," and "Follow your heart."
Unfortunately following the heart sometimes doesn't lead us down the best paths because we are blinded by some immaterial things. In fact the heart is deceitful above all things.

With wisdom in mind, let's look at the six tips that can help our marriages stay strong and healthy..

  1. Be ready and willing to forgive.
  2. Be humble enough to let go of your need to be "right." Seek for quick reconciliation rather than holding onto anger.
  3. Make it your goal to show an interest in him.
  4. Live with an attitude of gratitude. Marriage can be tough at times, but appreciation trumps nagging any day of the week!
  5. Communicate. Keep the door of communication open as wide as you can.
  6. Always pray together...A family that prays together stays together.
The key to all six of these is LOVE...it calls us to live in humility and treat our spouse and other people like we would treat ourselves...That's the best way to way nurture a strong and healthy marriage...
